PRIVACY POLICY

As a personal data processor, within the project 2018-1-BG01-KA204-047969 with acronym EDUCATE YOURSELF, financed by the Erasmus+ programme, INTEGRITY CONSULTING (as Project Leader) has an obligation to inform you what to expect when processing your personal data.

 

The administrator of the personal data you provide is the Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC) in its role of Erasmus+ Programme Bulgarian Contracting Authority and National Agency for Administration and Management of European Educational Programs and Initiatives:

Educate Yourself Platform is dedicated to respecting the privacy of its users. It provides a secured and safe environment for all interested young people who would like to increase their knowledge and skills by interacting with the tools and training materials published in the platform. The following statement outlines the policies by which the Integrity Consulting Platform collects, manages, and uses the data provided by its users.

 

1. Personal data collection goals

The information that may contain your personal data is processed only for purposes related to the implementation of the project, achievement and sustainability of project objectives. These goals can be:

  • Registration to gain access to the training materials in the learning platform.
  • Chat between users and project partners experts.

 

2.  Participation in the trainings and information events envisaged under the project

The project needs to report relevant data (for each of its activities) on the flows to the Contracting Authority and National Agency HRDC funded under the project and to demonstrate the presence of a predetermined number of participants from the target group. In order to take into account, the planned training sessions and information events, the participants will have to fill in the questionnaire, which will contain data about:

(a) Personal information: The personal data collected during the events include:

  • Name and Surname,
  • Email address,
  • Phone number,
  • Country of origin
  • Occupation info

Listed data shall not be processed for any other purpose than reporting to the Contracting Authority and National Agency HRDC. Personal data should stay in the Erasmus+ system during the lifetime of the programme and the reporting for projects linked to this. Data will have to be kept from INTEGRITY CONSULTING for five years after the final reporting in order to be able to trace the participants in case of ex-post problems or audits or evaluations. During the project implementation and final reporting these data will be also kept as electronic files on secured cloud space with limited access, shared between project partners for the purpose of the project administration and management. After final project reporting and its approval these files will be kept on secure server space on each project partner territory following programme requirements and duties.

 

3. Registration and use of the learning platform

When you sign up as user for the learning platform to get free access to its full content, you provide your personal information that is required to perform our services, described in section 2 (a).

This information is stored in a database located on a secure server located in a server space of our web hosting company JUMP.BG (www.jump.bg). We use this information only to ensure the performance of your requested service (usage of the learning platform). INTEGRITY CONSULTING may only provide this information to the Contracting Authority and National Agency HRDC for the purpose of reporting the project activities and undertakes not to provide it to other third parties.

 

4. Data verification, modification or deletion

In case you wish to verify which personal data is stored on your behalf by the responsible controller, or have it modified or corrected, you may do this yourself online. The password you set during registration will allow you to log in and update your personal information or deactivate your profile. Users can ask to deactivate their profile at any time (please see below under section 5).

 

5. Data storage period

Data related to statistics and research purposes is kept by the Contracting Authority and National Agency HRDC for the entire duration of the Erasmus+ program in an aggregated, anonymous format.

Data related to the profile of the user, as described in point 3, are kept for one year after the user’s last login. After one year from the last login, the user profile will automatically be set to inactive, i.e., no longer visible to other users or the outside world. A notification is sent to the user to inform her/him that her/his profile has been set to inactive and that he/she can re-activate his/her account by logging in again. A second and final reminder is sent after two additional years informing the user that, 3 years after her/his last login, his/her profile will be deactivated permanently. All personal information is then made anonymous.

 

6. Cookies

A cookie is a small amount of data the website stores on the visitor’s computer or mobile device. On our website, we use cookies in connection with its functioning as well as the collection of analytics statistics for which we use Google Analytics. The used cookies serve to distinguish users and sessions, to define new sessions, to submit queries, to store the source of traffic, and how the site is reached.

The Learning platform uses the following cookies:

PHPSESSID – contains only a session reference stored on the web server. The user’s browser does not store information and this cookie can only be used in the current session.

Cookies used to collect analytics statistics for which we use internal Moodle log analytics. You can get information about the cookies that internal Moodle log analytics generates here.

By properly setting up your browser, you can always turn off both our cookies and cookies from third parties. In this case, you may lose some of the functionality of some of the services on our site.

If you use a link that transfers you to another site, it will have its own cookies and security policy over which we have no control.

 

7. Log files

Like most sites, the Learning platform collects data in log files. This information contains your IP, which browser you use (such as Mozilla, IE, Chrome, etc.), the operating system (Linux, Windows, iOS) when you visited our website, the pages visited. We reserve the right to use the IP addresses of users to disclose their identity in cases where this is necessary to comply with the law. This information is stored in a database located on a secure server located in a server space of our web hosting company JUMP.BG (www.jump.bg).

 

8. Links to other websites

This privacy policy does not cover referrals from the Learning platform to other websites. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of the other websites you visit.

For any questions on your rights and the exercise of your rights related to the processing of personal data (like access and rectification of your personal data), please feel free to contact the Administrator of the Learning platform by e-mail or chat.
